About Felicia

Couples therapy, Individual therapy, relationship counseling, sex therapy, financial conflict, Coraville, Iowa

Hello! I am Felicia—sweet tooth, dog nanny, world traveler, and relational therapist. I love spending time with my family. I love eating my Grandma’s Kaiserschmarrn (recipe here). I love singing (off key) to Ed Sheeran songs. I love reading everything about mental health / self improvement, so my clients don’t have to (find some of my recommendations here). And I love real-life modern love stories, because they are better than the script of the best rom-com. This was one of the reasons why I ended up becoming a relational therapist.

So wherever you are at in your real-life modern love story (also the love story with yourself!), I am here to help you write it the way you desire it to be.

I am a German transplant to the Midwest, who initially moved to the U.S. for school…and stayed for love. In session, you will therefore sometimes hear me mis-pronounce a word (a classic being: feet-ish, not fuh-tish) or use a German metaphor translated into English language (you’ll see, it works!). My own love story brought along questions of whether and how inter-cultural, inter-faith relationships can work; and just as unique as we all are, the answers to such questions are unique.

As a result of this, you’d meet me as a culturally-competent therapist, acutely aware of the identity differences that need to be navigated within our own love stories - those with ourselves and others.
